The purpose of Phase II is to expose you to NEW and EXCITING opportunities pertaining to the
Green Career Pathways that will assist in your transition out of the Corps. We will CREATE goals, REVIEW goals, and ACHIEVE goals to further assist in your preparation for full-time employment. The transition staff will make you aware of available resources, connect you to resources, and provide support services when needed.
Bottom Line: We are here to ASSIST with resources and you are here to take ADVANTAGE of resources.
EXPECTATIONS:
1. Meet with your Case & Transition Supervisor on a monthly basis or as needed- Your Case & Transition Supervisor will send you a reminder and do their best to work around your schedule. However, if you are unable to meet we expect you to notify him/her via text message and/or phone call.
2. FOLLOW THROUGH with other staff who may contact you to set up meetings for College & Scholarship opportunities, Driver’s Ed, Legal Services, Counseling Services, Training and/or Programming. Again, if you are unable to make it please notify staff via text message and/or phone call.
3. PARTICIPATE in at least 2 Training and/or Programming per quarter
4. CHALLENGE yourself out of your comfort zone
5. Have a POSITIVE ATTITUDE, an OPEN MIND, and remember to SMILE

Lastly, we will complete two writing exercise where you get to tell your story that brought you to Corps and the legacy you would like to leave for other corpsmember to model.
