Greek Pottery was used in many ways, pottery was an everyday essential. Pottery was everyday essential and was used for various task such as wind holders . “Greek people, pottery wasn't just something to eat out of. From the Stone Age onward, Greek people made pottery to sell to their neighbors. Sometimes they sold it empty, for wine jugs or table dishes. There were a lot of techniques that the artist would use. Such as the different forms that the artist decided to make of what they painted on the pottery.Pottery was considered perhaps the most useful of the era’s art form. Clay pots, jars, were used everyday and every pot most of the time had some type of religious painting on it or some story on it about there daily life or sacrifices ("Ancient Greek Pottery”). Sculptures in ancient greece went through a big transition there were periods in which the sculptures had more of a animal like face and throughout the years they transitions into a more lifelike feel. Stone sculptures did not really survive the years and bronze sculptures were melted down and used for other things.
