The Pyrenees has been the host of the Tour De France for more than 100 years (History). The Tour De France is familiar all around the globe. Despite that, it is recognized as the biggest bike race in the whole world. Dozens of people have become famous for what they finished on the Tour De France. That said, Lance Armstrong, retired pro biker, is a downright example, cause everyone knows him for what he did in the Tour De France race. Even the competitors know how packaged the Pyrenees Mountains can be, the mountain can either make or break the rider. In spite of that, when they made the Pyrenees the host of the Tour De France, they were stunned due to most of the road had potholes with uneven terrain. The Pyrenees is often where the tour victory is played out (History). Accordingly, the riders can literally win or lose the tour based on their performance in the Pyrenees. For all that, The Tour De France route has a record of the greatest latter stages. In reality, some of the stages admit the highest gripping of the competition out there. Nevertheless, at 2,214 meters, it is the high road route in the Pyrenees and provides some of the utmost exciting Tour moments. As the Tour leaders dig deeper than ever, they pick it up to battle it out against their competitors to gain the advantage (History). Additionally, this is an imposing place for an exciting vacation. Anyhow, there is a multitude of activities that someone can participate in to construct the vacation they want to remember. Though, The Pyrenees Mountains are home to stacks of events that an abundance of people can travel from all regions of the world to come catch sight of. Yet a boatload of the activities that happen in these mountains are well known all throughout the world. That said, The Great Pyrenees Mountains are home to piles of sizeable hikes that people come from all around to venture. The possessions of the mountain range are most studying for the highest train track in Europe, including the immensely famous Tour De France. Even so, The Pyrenees Mountains are in Europe. Together it forms an immense border between France and Spain. Also, this position is a famous place to spend time with a family.
