One of the most lively city of Canada, Grand Prairie has very celebrating ambiance right from the welcoming of trumpeter swans to discoveries of Dinosaurs in its north and west region. Just like the most preferred place of migration by the flock of trumpeter swans this place has a very social approach of celebrating togetherness in its arts, religion and every other events of Grand Prairie. No matter you are visiting for the first time or another frequent visit this place, it tends you to distinguish in just staying in Grande Prairie and experiencing the happenings of it. Now if you are done with knowing everything from the history of the city it is time to endeavor city area. If you haven't visited the city yet first of all let's take you on a virtual tour through description of the city.
But first let's begin with description of the place. Grand Prairie is well blessed with good bountiful land suitable for farming along with rich oil and gas deposits. Moving to places for visiting in the city, it has very famous museum namely Grande Prairie Museum built in 1970 which tells the story of town settlement. Here you can enjoy skiving, swimming, cycling, curling, hockey, wall climbing, aerial jumps and landings at popular places like Nitehawk Recreation Area, Grande Prairie Curling Club, Grande Prairie Regional College Climbing Wall, etc. More interestingly if you like thrills you can enjoy wrestling, bronc, bull riding, roping and chuck wagon races at the annual festivals like Grande Prairie Stampede and cheer baseball at Summer slam baseball
