Grade On Blackboard

Good morning, I am writing you today because I am concerned about my final grade. I was looking at my grade on blackboard, and my participation grade is 10 out of 10 points; instead of 20 out of 20 points; based on what the syllabus reads. Also, my finial paper is not graded on blackboard. On the syllabus, it says the course is out of 400 points total. I do not understand how my grades are added in blackboard. As a student, I feel I tried very hard to master the material required in the course. I have re- written my disease paper four times and I have received a failing grade. I also had two different tutors helping me with my assignments. I have followed all Dr. Figueroa guidelines and went to the Learning Center for assistance. I have also met with Dr. Figueroa on many occasions to seek additional …show more content…
I have met with Dr. Figueroa and Dr. Cottrell and asked for assistance with the course. In addition, I have taken PBH452 Epidemiology course twice. This is my second F received in this course. Other courses such as PBH310 Determines of Health I received a D and Foundations of Public Health I received a F, from Dr. Figueroa who is the professor. I have emailed Dr. Figueroa and I have not received a response back. Dr. Figueroa is also my advisor, professor and coordinator for the program while Dr. Cottrell is out of office. As a student I am having a difficult problem with taking this course under Dr. Figueroa. My goal is to pass this course and complete my internship in the spring semester. I had a internship last summer at Costal Horizons, which the department approved, but Dr. Figueroa email me stated I can no longer complete my internship until completion off all coursework. I passed all my other courses this semester with A's and B and received a F in Epidemiology. I need assistance in passing this course, which is required in order to graduate. I appreciate your help in this
