South Korean Government System

The government system in the countries of Russia, France and South Korea is a form of a republic system that is successful for that specific population and culture. They have some similarities to each other, but they also have differences that enable success across the country. There is not a wrong or right way to have a government, but there is always room for improvement. The purpose for government systems is to help people in an organized manner, so it should have the good of its people as a priority. South Korea’s economy has developed into the twelfth largest economy at an alarming rate that is continuing to advance. The unemployment rate of South Korea is only 3.5%, so the majority of the population has a job and is able to have the income which provides security and a stable, happy life. Education is a priority in South Korea, therefore most people have knowledge and are literate, which aligns them with the pathway to success. The tax rate of commercial profits is 33.2%, which is the lowest of the three countries. Having a lower tax rate allows the people to make more decisions and have choices instead of having the government mandate services like healthcare. Life expectancy is on average 82 years, so the people of South Korea are well taken care of. Other than the economy, South Korea’s culture and tradition makes family a priority because of Confucius teaching. They stress obligations of relationships and roles of families. Everyone has a job and a sense of belonging. On the international level, South Korea’s focus on relationships translates to foreign interactions. They have a wide-ranging network of trading and allies including America. The government structure of South Korea enabled a successful economy and provided freedom for the people of the nation to make decisions. The central government did not micromanage the decisions of its people. Also, South Korea will not have to worry about possible sovereignty issue because it is not involved in multinational organizations like the European Union, NAFTA, and the United Nations. They will be able to continue to make government decisions based on the good of the citizens of South Korea in the future without the worry of about an organization becoming a dominate ruler over them in the form of an empire or something similar to an
