Governments with this type of format include Monarchies and Dictatorships. When it comes to monarchies, there are two different forms constitutional and absolute. A Constitutional Monarchy is a type of government where a king/queen acts as a Head of State. The capability to create and pass legislation lies with an elected Parliament, not with the Monarch. Peoples rights are protected in a Constitutional Monarchy by a constitution (a set of basic rules/laws in which a state or other organization is instructed to be ruled/governed.) .An Absolute monarchy or despotic monarchy is a monarchical form of government in which the monarch has absolute power among his or her people. An absolute monarch wields unrestricted political power over the sovereign state and its people. Governments that follow a socialist path are very good in theory, but very bad in practice, as shown by the Soviet Union. (It was Communism a form of socialist government) The idea of a socialist government is that society is completely classless. There is no rich and there is no poor everyone is equal and poverty is zero. This is achieved by the government determining what is produced and how much of it has to be produced so that there is enough to satisfy everyone. This sounds like a great system, but doesn't work mainly because of corruption. When the government gives all the power eventually they will become corrupt and do what's best for the government not the people. This corruption leads to terrible working conditions, low wages, and high poverty rates. This corruption is what happened in the Soviet Union.
On the whole other end of the spectrum is fascism, an example is the dictatorship of Nazi Germany. In a fascist government, the government is ran for the good of the country, not necessary the good of the people, thus resulting resulting in higher poverty rates and big gaps between the rich and the poor. Fascism and Socialism are two extreme forms of government. These forms of government are so opposite that they are the same.
