The most books have similarity’s in Gothic Elements. You can compare them to different books and you will find something that could be similar.
In The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern leads the Supernatural to extraordinary things “her momentary glee at the adjustment is crushed by the pain that follows as the ring continues to close around her finger, the metal burning into her skin.” (Morgenstern 24). Mystery is not only used in Night Circus. Nathaniel Hawthorne the Author from “Dr. Heidegger’s Experiment” used also Mystery in his book. “Quick! Give us more of this wonderous water!” (Hawthorne 2). Night Circus is mysterious because of the magic and the things people can do with it. People know things that other people do not know or can do extraordinary stuff that other people cannot do. In “Dr. Heidegger’s Experiment” the people think that something happened but at the end they are unsure if it happened or not. People believe in stuff that makes them happy or that’s good for them and what they like.
Death shows similarity between The Night Circus and “Masque of the Red Death” by Edgar Allan Poe. “”Was ,” Celia clarifies, “He … passed last year.”” (Morgenstern 95). “The “Red Death” had long devastated the country.” (Poe 446). Night Circus and “Masque of the Red Death” are similar with the Gothic Element Death because in both books is it a theme.
