After reading and evaluating the circumstances in the case management vignette about the Gonzales family, I found that there are host of different dynamic that need to be addressed. Helping the Gonzales family to find the resources for their issues that needs to be resolved were somewhat complicated. After I had identified their issues in the vignette about the Gonzales family. I found it difficult to create an itemized list of importance, because I think each issues that the Gonzales family has is just as important as the other. So, I decided to make a list of identified needs on the Case management Needs Assessment according to how it was presented in the Gonzales family vignette. I collected the need resources for each area of need which I felt were difficult to find for some of the Gonzales needs, especially in the community that I live in. I was able to talk with a behavioral health clinician for Maria and I was referred to a woman counseling clinic that would help Maria with her depression and her drug use. I found a resource that would help her file for her unemployment, and to get an increase in food stamps and also help the children with their issues as well through the Department of children & family services. I found it necessary to call the service/agency to clarify how and when to access these services, because sometimes service/agency have policies/procedures and the public might not necessary aware of the new changes that have been made.
I think that it would be difficult for the client to find the information on his or own is not because of how complicated that it might be, but because they are going through the issues or problems and those problems or issues have consumed them so much that they think in an positive way to make the necessary choice to without the help of
