The reasons relate to previous negative experiences, personal stress, or anticipated organizational stress about the relocation. Skill development centers on identifying how and what you are expected to do once you relocate, on realistic assessment of the challenges. It helps to talk with others with a similar move, to project positive outcomes, and to sort the change process into manageable steps with enough time” (Dodd, 2016). Based off of what causes the decrease in relocation motivation such as “negative experiences, personal stress, or anticipated organizational stress”. In order to strengthen my relocation motivation, I would have to not pass judgment on present places because of past experiences.
