Global Health broadly includes cardiovascular, obesity, diabetes that are getting epidemic worldwide due to a variety of factors, some of which are connected to those that promote increased mortality from Global Infectious Disease (GID). Ischemic heart disease, stroke, lower respiratory infections and chronic obstructive lung disease have remained the highest killers throughout the past decade. Since the 1970’s new diseases have been identified at the unprecedented rate of one or more per year, and scientists are warning of a possible worldwide epidemic involving a killer virus that they believe does not even exist yet.
