German Tank During WWII
Hi, I'm Benjamin o. Davis. I am a brigadier general in the us army. What are tanks. Here are a few tanks to help you learn about them.
Panther I tank made in 1944.what a weird name for a tank, it doesn't even sound like a panther.[pause for laughter] The armor was .4 to 4.75 inches. Their primary was a Borsig 1 X 7.5 cm. Kwk 42L/70 and their backup was 2 X 7.92mm Maschinengewehr 34 machine guns.
The Panther I was produced in mass, but not overly produced. unlike us while we are having more and more kids[laughter] The Allies commanders did not think that this tank would be produced in mass because of the amount of armor that the Panther I required. their armor was .98 to 4.7 inches. Thier primary was a 1 X 8.8cm kwk l/56 and their backup was 2 X 7.92mm maschinengewehr machine guns
The Tiger I had an amazing accuracy at long range. Upon entering the war the Tiger I proved to be a formidable enemy on the battlefield but proved to be highly unreliable. Its high amount of armor and its caliber made it quite a nemesis, but had 1 crippling problem.They suffered high rates of breakdowns caused by engine failures, their overly complicated wheel system, and other mechanical issues. With it's superior 88mm cannon the Tiger I could strike and strike again before the enemy could return fire. Overachievers, like you. [walkaround and point at someone for fun ]The Tiger I was designed as a breakthrough weapon in the war. meant as an anchor for defensive strongholds. the Tiger I tank's armor made it perfect for this job as the Tiger could exceed 10 to 1 kill death ratio against the Allies tanks. We could do better.[act like a toddler having a pout]the allies didn't think this tank would be produced in mass and were unprepared when this tank came up in this war. The Panther I had a 7.5 cm cannon and the Tiger had a 8.8cm which gave the Tiger I the upper hand in firepower. The Panther I was very reliable and almost never suffered from any type of breakdown while the Tiger I on the other hand suffered many a breakdown caused by their engine complicated wheel system and many other mechanical issues. Unlike us men.[laughter]In my opinion, I think the Panther was the better of the two tanks. even though the Tiger I had a better caliber the Panther I was way more reliable than the Tiger and could be counted on a lot more than the tiger could be . I also think the panther looks better than the Tiger
