George Herbert Walker Bush was born in Milton, Massachusetts, on June 12, 1924. His family was very wealthy yet raised their children to be above no one. Although they did stress the importance of public service and giving back to society. As just a teenager , Bush left home to become his own person and start his own family. He later began his political career becoming the Republican Party chairman in Harris County, Texas. Bush was always good with people, and as chairman he was able to build relationships in the Republican Party that helped him throughout his en political career.
