A long time ago, deep beneath the deep blue sea, there was a beautiful cream-coloured shell that lived with her two coral-coloured starfish parents. Shell was happy, but she always felt as if something were missing, as if she were different than everyone else.
Unfortunately, different was not a good thing at her school. All different types of sea creatures attended her school: starfish, jellyfish, eels, sharks, and a wide variety of fish but not another shell. She lives in Ottawa, ON, with her parents and her two sisters. Tegan loves rats, and she loves science. She plays guitar, sings, write songs, and is very creative.
On a bright summer's morning, a sun-loving girl walked up to a hill surrounded by vast plains as she usually did on bright Saturdays. Only this time, there was a man on the hill. Near the hill were four glass bottles, and another bottle was on the hill with the man. It seemed as if the bottle had a beam of light filling it. Then, the man put a cork on the bottle and walked down the hill to grab another. As he did this, he glanced at the girl. The girl ran away, afraid.
The following Saturday, the girl, though still afraid, was overcome by an impulse to run to the hill and drink up all the glorious sun because there was more sun than before. So, she did. Again, the man was there, except this time he had ten bottles. He was filling yet another one when again he saw her. This time, she was so curious, she let her mouth get ahead of her, and she asked, "Who are you, and what are you doing?"
"I'm a Sun-catcher, and I'm catching the sun," the man replied.
"How?" Her mind was enveloped in curiosity, and so it agreed with her
