Fraternal twins are similar to biological siblings, sharing the same amount of genes, these children share similar test results with their siblings and score less than identical twins, also supporting the idea of intelligence being hereditary. Another example of hereditary being a factor for intelligence is provided with adoptive children, It has been know for adopted children to show an IQ score, similar to their biological parents as they age. These facts alone do not prove hereditary is the only form of intelligence, the environment is just as big of a factor. After research, three areas show environment to stimulate intelligence, families and homes, IQ scores increasing and intervention programs. Families and homes assist in intelligence by challenging their children through riddles and attending museums, or even having stimulating conversation. The second area, IQ scores increasing, explains how over a 25 years period, IQ scores significantly increased by 10 points, this factor can bring smaller families and better schools into the environment, therefore, changing environmental conditions on intelligence. The third factor, intervention programs, explains how programs were created for less fortunate children in school. For example, if children grow up in poverty and do not receive help with education, they cannot better themselves and assist their future family, therefore, creating their children to make the same mistakes they did; the intervention program ends the
