The Similarities Between Antisocial Personality And Psychopaths

Antisocial personality disorder is a mental health disorder characterized by disregard for other people according to sources. Antisocial personality can be caused by genetic factors and environmental factors as well. People who are predisposed to a parent that is antisocial and one that is an alcoholic are at an increased risk to this disorder. There are two behavior traits within this disorder and it makes up a sociopath and psychopath. Sociopaths usually have the tendency to be more impulsive and uncertain in their behavior unlike their counterparts which are psychopaths. Psychopaths tend to be more manipulative and they have a charming appeal to them. While they both can overlap one another sociopaths aren 't seen as normal acting in society, …show more content…
People around Plainfield said he was like the handy man often helping them with something, therefore he seemed normal. Nonetheless back home, Gein was dealing with the absence of his mother in an abnormal way. He boarded up her room in which she use to live in, leaving it untouched and in tip top shape. He grew an interest in reading death-cult magazines as well. Gein would look at when funerals precessions were going to be held so he could dig up fresh bodies to experiment with. These bodies many times resembled his mother. On november 16,1957 Bernice Worden disappeared, she was an owner of a hardware store. When she went missing investigators suspected Gein in some way because her son said some mysterious guy kept coming in to check the prices of antifreeze. Investigators went to go search Gein’s property and they found Worden body in a shed hanging upside down, this act resembled the act of gutting a deer during hunting season. It was seen that she was shot before she was mutilated by Gein. While searching Gein’s house investigators discovered numerous body parts Gein had mutilated and made into lamps and other furniture. Mary Hogan’s head was found in a paper bag, she too went missing but a few years back and no one could find her. She owned a little bar in Plainfield and was a loud mouth according to sources. Along with finding her head, investigators found that some bowls were made out of human skulls, organs in refrigerators, and nine mask made out of human skin. He also had a women suit made out of skin, admitting that he wanted a sex change and use to practice rituals into becoming a women. The weird thing with Ed was that this was all normal for him, so when he was questioned he would give them truthful answers. However this wasn 't the end of the Ed Gein
