Summary: The 6 days that God created all things, and the final day of rest. The formation of man and woman, followed by the temptations of the serpent; leading to man knowing right and wrong and woman having more painful child birth.
Commentary: God is all-powerful but sin and the devil can tempt us to do things that He would not approve of. Although we were all created to work together that can be separated and destroyed by the sin that has taken over the world.
Genesis 4:1-15
Summary: Cain, the son of Adam and Eve, killed his brother, because God had provided more for him. He was then cursed by God to not be able to harvest and when he wished for death God made it so anyone who killed him would be punished seven times worse. …show more content…
There can always be something worse to come and if you allow for the sin to take over then the worst will catch up.
Genesis 6:5 – 9:17
Summary: A man, Noah, is instructed by the Lord to built an arc. On this arc he is supposed to gather two of every animal as well as his wife and three kids. This arc is to protect them from the floods that God has sent to wipe out all of mankind.
Commentary: Listening to a higher power is important, because often we do not see the bigger picture. It would not have been possible for the world to repopulate if Noah had not listened to God. Hence it is important for us to listen so that we too can renew the World.
