Each Unit is composed by two lessons and each Lesson is formed by General Lesson Objective and Enabling Objectives. The design of the Units are made in an escalated form starting with the familiarization of the learner will ethical concepts related to the field of medicine, and later on progressing through the units to more complicated subjects, such as Tort Law, Confidentiality, Abortion, Cloning.
A challenging portion into any educational experience is to select a method of assessment that will demonstrate students’ knowledge and skills acquired during the course. There are many different choices to measure students’ performance. In this course the students’ performance was assessed through formative assessment and summative assessments.

Define ethical concepts related to medicine. Through Lecture the instructor will define ethical concepts related to medicine. Formative Assessment: Instructor will ask the learners to define the concepts. Feedback will be provided.

2. Describe what are the components of an ethical issue Power Point Presentation
This presentation is designed with short bullet points and explanations. The instructor will describe the components of an ethical issue. Formative Assessment
Questioning from the Instructor. For example Given a case scenario the students will describe the components of an ethical issue. Feedback will be provided.
3. Summarize the model of Resolving an Ethical Issue Video presentation containing cases scenarios with different approaches to an ethical issue resulting in different outcomes.
Learners, with the help of the instructor will engage into discussion in order to summarize the model. Summative Assessment: Video Discussion: As active video viewers, students will be able to summarize the model after participating in a small group discussion. Grading Rubric : Accuracy of Answers 50%
