The innovations that was used in the post-Civil war was the telegraph, photography, rifle musket and Minnie ball, submarines, and railroads. The telegraph was Samuel Morse’s innovation it was widespread commercial was used over a decade before the Civil War began. Photography was used in fostering the wet-plate photography which was used for unlimited prints which had the ability to make larger prints. The rifle musket and Minnie ball was used in previous wars, only worked if they used the line tactics on the battlefield.
