Thirty thousand women lose their jobs each year simply for being pregnant. How can we cast 30,000 members of our potential workforce aside every year, simply because of their gender and it’s ‘limitations’? Can we afford to shun such a large majority of our workforce so that our cabinet can feel more secure, relieved of the ‘threat’ the opposite gender poses? I doubt it. How can our government claim pride over Britain’s ‘democracy’ when we live in anything but? Ultimately, the bias attitude our political system endorses is beginning to damage the welfare both of our nation, and our population
Obviously, I can only do so much to aid my cause. I rely heavily on the passion and support of you, the public, as well as the central government to aid my campaign. Without you, this movement would simply fade out, never heard of again. We cannot allow that to happen. The problem of sexism in politics is too big for us to ignore; it affects us all, and will continue to affect us unless we take
