IMC will forever be a changing, evolving and emerging landscape. It is the responsibility of marketers to keep up with the evolution. At one point in time direct marketing and television were the best and most effective way to hook consumers. Although, the old ways are still a viable way of communication. Marketing is now more integrated with a more digital social landscape. Consumers are connected to not only business but to each other in more social centric digital landscape. As technology evolves more and more marketing vehicles open. Today’s emerging media landscape I wide open, from social media to enchanted objects.

As technology evolves so do consumers. Marketers have a wider target market than ever before. From the Baby Boomers to Generation Z. Identifying what makes each audience tick is the trick.

This is the up and coming generation and is the true digital generation. Gen Z is on top of their game when it comes to emerging media. This generation is connected to technology across all channels. “If brands want to get on Gen Z’s radar, they’ll have to get creative, not only in their approach but how they seek out this tech-smart set, whose 8-second attention spans leave little room for second chances. “ (Digiday, 2014)

But generations are not the only focus for marketers and emerging media. Ethnic diversity plays a large roll in marketing strategies today. Especially, the Hispanic communities. “54 million Hispanics living in the United States, representing approximately 17% of the U.S. total population, making people of Hispanic origin the nation's largest ethnic or race minority.” (Censu.gov, 2015) More and more companies are creating diversified and alternate websites to cater and target these target market
