Children should grow up with parents of separate genders. Many may think that having separate gender does not have an impact on how your children are raised. However, it is only the beginning of showing them from right and wrong. According to the article “Children Without Mothers Are at Special Risk,” “If a son or daughter who loses a mother never receives adequate substitute mothering, the loss can do long-term damage to his or her self-esteem, ability to relate to other people, overall feelings of security and ability to trust others.” If a child without a mother does not learn the importance of being around girls then that will affect their future decisions. This is one out of many issues that could be caused by gay adoption.
