Due to the continuent that there are so many different fields of medicine and ways to view it, it is important to have journals like this so doctors and students have a reference point when needed or desire to learn new information. Furthermore, the journal can function as a catalyst for other professionals to enhance their own skills, develop new techniques, solve problems or for general knowledge. For example, if we analyse a particular article within the journal-- “Modern management of acute non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding”-- we can drastically understand more about management of gastrointestinal bleeding. Within the article there are many visuals of cases of the gastrointestinal bleeding to be able to detect in a real world scenario. Furthermore, in chronological order, the authors depict the certain scenarios of when the gastrointestinal bleeding can be prevalent, causes and various treatments to this …show more content…
Other than the topic being drastically different than the previous article, the structure also varies greatly between the two. In “Allocating Organs to Cognitively Impaired Patients” there is strictly a text analysis and description of research that has been done on this topic. In addition, there are no visuals to offer a visual perspective for the reader like in the previous article which made it more appealing to the eye on the first glance. Regardless of their contrasting information both journals and the articles within provide the audience, medical professionals, with insightful information that is critical to their profession and our future
