Being a nurse is a difficult job, but the rewards for this can been recognized by the fact that nursing has been ranked as the most trusted profession for over a decade according to gallup polls. I understand that I have an immense amount of responsibility within this field, and I actively choose to honor this by working hard, implementing basic principles of decency within my professional and personal life, and learning from those who have more insight in nursing than I currently do, so that one day I can impart my knowledge onto younger prospective nurses, as well. I consider this educational journey to be more significant than a career choice, but rather a calling to channel my intrinsic values of compassion, dependability, and servitude in a career that saves lives daily.
