During medical school students must complete (2) years of classroom instruction in science followed by (2) years of clinical rotation. Following medical school those who choose to become a family practitioner must complete a (3) year family practitioner residency practice . After that they have to complete a successful completion of residents in clinical and or small practice facility . There average salary is $183,940.00 annually depending on where they become employed. I would like to become a family practitioner because it gives me the opportunity to help others.
