Snake was a devious character with little moral or sympathy and was not the type of person you would typically associate yourself with; however this devious individual was also very well connected, and was Omed’s only hope of salvation. Omed had found himself in a life and death situation after his run in with the Taliban when they killed his best friend in cold blood, Omed knew that if the Taliban found him he would be dead and he was left with no option but to run.
