Friar Lawrence did this because he thought it would end the feud,but it did not end the feud. He should have went the parents and the parents,knowing that if they were to fight they would be killed, would have let them get married. Friar Lawrence thought he had done no harm performing the marriage,but he made the situation worse. Next, Friar Lawrence did not tell Lord Capulet and Lord Montague about Romeo and Juliet being together.
Friar Lawrence could have, which he should have, instead of performing the marriage, told the parents and they would have stopped the romance before it happened. When Juliet “died”, Friar Lawrence could have been comforting Lord and Lady Capulet, but his heart wasn't into it because he knew she wasn't really dead. He could have told the Lord and Lady Capulet that Juliet was as already married and couldn't marry another man. Last, he let Romeo and Juliet kill
