I’ve been in school for about 11 years, every year is different, but yet the same. Because we are at the same school for years, it’s the same people, same school, and same everyday routine. Some years are better than others, but the overall best year that I’ve experienced is or was, 8th grade. The fun field trips to places, High School acceptance, and it’s the last year of middle school.…

Growing up in rural Nebraska had its benefits and drawbacks. The freedom to virtually do anything outside was nice, but it came at the expense of my social life along with making my aspirations harder to follow. Middle School Mid-Life Crisis Middle school, a time of cringe worthy moments and regret. I like to refer to this story as my “Middle School Mid-Life Crisis”, since I questioned the purpose of going to school almost every day, and never felt motivated to do anything. Dreading almost every day of school, not having stable mental, emotional, or physical health, and feeling dissatisfied with myself as a student. My mind set was always on countdown mode, “I just have to make it through this class period. I only have 20 more problems to do.”…

Although I am still learning the freshman survival. I think a great way to survive freshman year is by participating in extracurricular activities and being involved in your school. This helps you grow as a person, be more social and it makes it easier to interact with other students. If you fail in attending class everyday and keeping up with your school work it will be harder for senior year. A freshman survival could also be keeping up with your work and do not fail any classes because it will be much harder as you work your way up to Sophomore, Junior and Senior year.…
