“Freedom Writers” is based upon a true story about an idealistic young Caucasian English teacher named Erin Gruwell, who takes a teaching job at Woodrow Wilson high school located in the inner city of Los Angeles California. Her enthusiasm is quickly tested when she realizes that her class was full of troubled youth known as the “unteachables” who were not interested and as eager to learn as she envisioned. Also the ethics in this film helped me to not judge a person based on race, or background. Just like the saying “everyone has their own demons”, you never know what difficulties in life they are facing so never judge. Again this film is on my must see list whether a teacher, student or just regular adult. It will serve as an inspiration and wake up call for all of us to realize the real duties, stress, and responsibilities that comes with being a teacher, and possible help us to respect what they do that much
