Poems are usually used to express writer’s view about particular events. It brings both plain meaning and implications when readers reading them. There are many types of poems, but free verse is the most widely popular type in all of poems. This kind of poem without clear rhythm and constraint framework, so readers can easy to understand what context want to present. Without complex metrical form and recondite words, how free verse form through language and design should be known by us. In addition, free verse also can set up a solid foundation for the future poetry study. When people want to study how to write a poem, they will write free verse firstly, free verse will help them know how poets express themselves. Readers can gain much new knowledge through knowing more about free verse. In general, genre is usually described that a style of writing in expressing yourself. It can be separated into 2 categories which are fiction and nonfiction. Poetry belong to the previous one. Language and designs are important part in free verse genre. Because of the unfettered rhythm, the free verse trend to focus on language and design. These patterns are both important part in free verse. No matter what language using in free verse, the only task is to show how people thinking, knowing and expressing. The unique design also let user arrange format changeably. Unfettered rhythm give user more space to fill in their opinion about some events. At the same time, unfettered rhythm will also be an obstacle, a research state that the rhythms of the simplest poem are too complex to be ever entirely analyzed (Tartakovsky, 2015).
