Fourth Day Narrative

“Now remember, if you need any help or anything make sure to ask. Also make sure you actually talk.” My mom said while pulling into the bus loop.
“I will.” I sighed and played with my hands. Today was my first day of fourth grade so I was nervous, but I was even more nervous because I was starting at a new school.
People would already stare at me because I was new, but also because I was in a wheelchair and I had a bright pink, smelly, double leg cast. I wore a ugly blue and gray stripped shirt that had black sparkly peace signs. I also wore black pants that snapped up along the sides because that was the only thing that would fit over my cast.
