This showing that any harmful act towards a child such as beating, torturing, starving, deprival of essential needs, meaning not allowing your child to bathe, eat, sleep, change clothing, are all acts of physical abuse. Any physical abuse can lead to head trauma, damage to a child’s growing brain, broken bones, ability to cope and thrive in their adult life’s, or even hospitalization and death.
