My passion for diagnosing and treating patients along with my strong work ethic came in handy during my one year house job after graduation. It was a challenge to work within meager resources in a government hospital, but I strived to do my best in managing patients. Giving proper time to my patients, educating them about their disease and dealing with their emotions was my utmost priority. The four month internal medicine rotation was the one I relished the most. The very first case allotted to me was a young male with Addison's disease, who had presented to us with complaint of tiredness and lethargy for weeks.
