The four forces of evolution is natural selection, genetic drift, gene flow, and mutation. To start of, natural selection is when organism adapt to their environment and the animals that can't eventually die off. For instance their were other species of cheetahs but the ones that are alive now were selected from natural selection because they were the strongest and the ones that could reproduce more. Genetic drift is a change in a species that might or might not exists in the future. For instance, a colorful bug is more likely to be stepped on than a bug of the same species that are more camouflaged, therefore the color bugs in the family would die out because there would not be a lot to reproduce. Gene flow from my understanding is like a mixing of genes, for instance how dogs are bred nowadays, a big dog with a big dog will create a much large dog, vise-a-versa when a small dog mates with a small dog, it is a mix of alleles to create similar traits. Mutation is not like ninja turtles, no. From my understanding mutation is change via the environment, like how a lizard can change its skin colors to blend in with the background, that was because of mutation. To be honest its almost midnight on a valentines day and my date ditched me so let me give you my understanding on this subject the best I can, I really am trying my best Embarassed. Frameshift mutation is far more likely to lead to a defective protein compared to a point mutation because in point mutation it only changes in one base for substitution, however for frameshift it is a much serious substitution because it inserts and deletes nucleotides in result changes the codons and changes every amino acid which means that it can change the entire protein making it shorter or longer, so a much higher chance to lead to a defective
