On the 25th of September in the year 2015, my mother had given me a form of transportation along with my friends to the Cross County mall located at 8000 Mall Walk in Yonkers, NY. At the Cross County mall, we stopped at bus 25 and examined four women and three males, two of which had headphones in and taking pictures of the herbs. Once we got to a pretzel store, Auntie Annie’s, there was an elongated line in which we had to wait in since we were famished after not eating in school. When we received our food, we had noticed that all our orders were incorrect, causing us to consider the location untrustworthy. After we ate, we had a seat on the nearest bench, which is where most of the observation took place. In the entrance of this store with an abundance of shoes, I observed two workers, one lanky and another fit, bringing in merchandise to the store. From the interior of the Footlocker, the man greeting us had a certain resemblance to Dj Khaled and the couple with book bags on behind us seemed to be “sneaker-heads” since sneakers were the only things they talked about. There was also a display case with navy blue Timberland boots in which this short, African-American girl was cherishing as if it were a god. Aside from all the people trying on and scavenging for shoes, there was this woman who was yelling at her husband because of a birthday gift he got her she didn’t like and had to return. There was also a child crying over a pair of shoes he wanted but couldn’t get that ceased from crying after we had made some faces at him.
