Foodservice Manager In Atlantic Canad A Case Study

Decent Essays
From May to August 2016 I worked as an Event and Field Support Co-op student at Pepsico Beverages for the Foodservice Manager in Atlantic Canada, Chris Munroe. Whole Foods Market - value excellence A company that has always been building customer value through value excellence, I think is Whole Foods Market. It is a great example of utilizing customer innovation to capture the demand for natural and organic foods that has been growing rapidly in the U.S. since the late 1990s. Staying true to their customers and connecting with them through their product offering is the formula that Whole Foods credits its success to (Simmons and Carwford, 2013). The food chain not only provides great value for its customer but also goes to extraordinary lengths to educate them about natural and organic foods, health, nutrition and the environment.…

Whole Foods Market has its own line of products called 365 Everyday Value and Whole Foods Market brand, Engine 2 Plant-Strong products, and Whole Trade Guarantee products. I recall an experience I've faced in my career to date has to be the key role I played in helping HollisWealth (a division of Scotia Bank) to develop with their new clients from Chelee Financial in 2013. As the beginning we were trying to ask the clients to sign the agreements of accepting the account transfer, over 90% of the clients don’t know about HollisWealth, and most of them were dealing with Chelee financial for over 10 – 15 years. I understood their concern, about trustee, about the new advisor to them. The luckiest thing was, they all know me, and I was the assistant in Chelee.…

I believe I did not fully apply all of my learning objectives while at the Wellness Center. One of my objectives was to increase the efficiency of the center by applying the knowledge I was going to be learning. Despite that I learned many theories and concepts about how organizations work, I was not able to make ample applications due to the lack of opportunities. One primary anticipation I had of the Wellness Center was to be given new job duties and responsibilities beyond what is given to ordinary student assistants. I believed that my experience and knowledge of three years would have given me an advantage for consideration.…

By the end of the summer our Instagram following grew above 550 members, and our Facebook grew to over 850 members. This turn around was something that required persistence and consistent posting and I owe a lot of this to Austin Reed and Chris Philipps, but from that time on the precedent was changed from PR being a blow off position, to a highly coveted position in the Lambda Omega Chapter. The next position I held was this past Winter & Fall Terms as our Recruitment Chair. In this role I was a productive member of e-board in a period where we had a lot of turmoil and perhaps the ‘slipperiest slope’ of our chapter. As Recruitment Chair I planned two Recruitments that had very few hiccups with all events/items being taken care of days/weeks before the events began.…
