The Flourishing Blossoms Society for Girls, Inc. displays the adaptive leadership approach, the organization “calls upon participants at all levels of the organization to leverage their strengths and agents to effect change or address complex problems (Lucas et al pg. 75). The two co-founders are also innovative by developing new ideas for their organization. When I read their history they have thrown smaller gatherings to raise money in Baltimore such as literacy events and sip and pain nights. The organization also raises money to take the mentees on a study abroad event to take part in a service opportunity. The organization does act as a community. When things are not serious, they provide down time and plan socials to get to know one
