Five Perspective Of Psychology

5The Psychology 101 class taught by Professor Jagiela has been very advantageous to my knowledge of the real world, the concept of psychology, and as a student at Quinnipiac University. This course, in particular, introduced myself to the background and breadth of contemporary psychological science. Five perspectives on the study of psychology form the basis for topics within the class; these include the biological, cognitive, social, developmental and scientist-practitioner aspects. The course emphasizes psychology's philosophical origins, its research methods, and the relationship of the discipline of psychology with other areas of inquiry.
