I want to attend the Ohio Fire Executive Officer class for the opportunity of bettering my education, resources and leadership skills to prepare for the opening of becoming Fire Chief. This class will provide me with exceptional information in relation to the daily operations of being a Fire Chief within a department. In preparation for advancement, I have previously attended Fire Officer I, II, and III. Logically, this class would be the next step to further my education for possible advancement within the ranks. Our current Chief is a graduate of the Ohio Fire Executive Class so I have seen first-hand the benefits of the class with his leadership abilities, planning and organization.
