On December 11, Detroit Lions' quarterback Matthew Stafford got injured during a game against the Chicago Bears. Stafford suffered ligament damage as well as dislocation of his middle finger on his throwing hand. Currently, the team is focusing on non-surgical treatments, which will allow Stafford to continue to play for the remainder of the season.
