The following information represents action film industry. The film industry age of moviegoers consist in the range of 18 – 34 years of age. The gender consists of all but mainly higher with males. The income level consists of the middle class. The ethnicity of avid moviegoers is Caucasian. The avid moviegoers are fast passed and energetic.

The geographic area for producing the films will be in the southwest region. I will be located in Los Angeles, CA. The release of the movie will cross over the United States and potentially globally. The distribution of DVD release will graphically consist in the US.

The target market has disposable income allowing more spending in the economy. The consumers are drawn to adventure. The consumers are of the curiosity type. The consumers tend to be described as Explorers and/or Reformers. The Explorer traits consist of brand choice, energetic, change, adventure, and instant effect. The Reformers traits consist of social awareness, curious, independent judgment, and support growth of new product.

The purchases by customers are made largely online. Amazon is a large online retail the customer’s purchase the product/service. The customer’s also purchase from retail outlets. The main retail outlets used would be Wal-Mart, Best-Buy, and Target. Another source of purchased used by customers in online subscriptions. The three main online subscriptions are Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu. The frequent moviegoer will purchase movies every week on Tuesdays. The market size is large in compassion to a lot of other industry. The 2015 market share is 26.13% for action films. The frequent moviegoers keep the market size high.
There is definite a forecast growth in the film industry over the next five years. The revenue for the film industry starts at 88.3 billion and expected to show a growth in four years to the amount of 104.6 billion. The expected growth rate of revenue is about 4% yearly for the film industry. The market share for 2014 was 21.87% and the market share for 2015 is 26.13% for the action genre. This shows the action genre also shows a growth in market share.

The changes occurring in the market are the increased Internet technologies. There are numerous new marketing channels. Marketing can come through emails, blogs, digital ads, and social media platforms. The rise in mobile use has allowed marketing to reach out to mobile use. Data analysis is another change to gain more knowledge on customer’s habits for marketing purposes.
