Casablanca is an American Romantic film that was produced in 1942 whose setting is during the Second World War. The film centers on an American soldier who is at crossroads of choosing between the love he has for a lady and assisting the husband to the lady who is a leader of the Czech Resistance to escape from Casablanca, a city in Morocco controlled by the Vichy in order for him to persist in fighting the Nazis. The film begins with the image of a globe that is spinning and the French national anthem of ‘La Marseillaise’ (Casablanca). A brief narration then introduces us to the city of Casablanca and its significance in the country of Morocco which is by then under the French rule. Her focus was on taking care of Laszlo. After, Laszlo tells Ilsa on why Rick refused to sell him the letters; she goes to his club where she has an argument with Rick about the letters and even points a gun at him. During the argument, she tells Rick that she is still in love with him and explains the reason for her departure. Rick then inclines in assisting her husband, and they come to an agreement that he will stay with her when Laszlo leaves. Laszlo then shows up unexpectedly, but Rick manages to hide Ilsa with the help of his waiter, Carl. Laszlo had escaped from a resistance meeting that had been raided by the police. When he becomes aware of rick’s love for Ilsa, Laszlo tries to convince him to use the letters to take Ilsa to safety. Laszlo is then arrested by the police on a minor unreasonable issue, but Rick manages to convince them to release him and then assure them that he’ll assist them in arresting him on a major charge; possessing the letters of transit. Rick then explains to Renault that Ilsa and he will travel to America as a way of justifying himself. When the arrangement of arresting Laszlo is set,
