Having a good relation between parent and child is very important in every family. In the story

The story ''Fiesta 1980'' by Junot Diaz recalls the childhood experience of a father and son. Yunior and his family moved from Domican Republic to Bronx, New York city. Yunior is having phychosomtic illness, physicals symptoms that was created by mind and emotions.
Yunior get sick every time he gets into his father's green van. His father has a puerto Rican mistress and that's why he feels disgusted towards his father and throws up in his van. His father even take him to his mistress house. He loves his mother so much that he hides his father's affair becuase he don't want to hurt her. His father bought the green van for showing off to his mistress and that is why Yunior only throws up in that van. It gets his father irritated and annoyed. But Yunior's father ignores all abuse his causing on his son. There's no love, no communication or respect between father and son.
