I really enjoyed reading over your post this week. I think that your subject on a field study is one that we can all identify with. Most if not all of us come in contact with a homeless person or someone we think to be homeless most each and everyday. Not a work day goes by I do not pass one selling newspapers at the base of the Interstate off ramps or begging monies at the intersection close to my residence.

I have seen multiple people donate money time and time again to these people; unbeknownst to the donor the money goes toward motel, alcohol and many times drugs. These are full time jobs for many of these people; I have seen them cleaned up eating at nice restaurants and even seen news stories on some others.
