Strengths
In regards to the strengths of a service, it is important to look at what a business does to add value. Value can be affected by the actual product or service, the supply chain, the customer relationship, the security, and any facets of business that go into providing a service to a consumer. Some of the biggest strengths that the #Student9s program possess are convenience and cost. The ease of being able to just post something with a hash-tag has taken the millennial generation by storm. The ability to connect with a subculture of baseball fans, especially the college aged baseball fans, and getting tickets for a college-based budget has never been easier. As said by the executive vice president, “handheld technology is really changing the in-park fan experience.” “This new system not only enhances reception inside Fenway Park, it also helps us meet both the current demands of our fans from a mobile technology standpoint and sets us up with the proper infrastructure to meet their future needs.” This allows people to more easily use social media platforms while at Red Sox games, the more use, pictures, videos and other content while at the baseball games will increase the interest of other millennials in the target market for this campaign. With the implication of this mobility Red Sox fans are asked to tweet out or Instagram a photo of themselves at the game for a chance to win prizes or just simply be on the jumbotron. It enhances the experience and it markets the Red Sox brand with the hopes of enticing more fans to attend the games.
