Intro
-The Cassette Ethical Sourcing Code of Practice (ESC) embodies our commitment to sourcing products in a responsible manner, and working with suppliers to improve their social and environmental practices. The following ESC is based on commitment to respecting the core labour standards established by the International Labour Organisation, protecting and respecting human rights as set out in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and promoting environmental sustainability.

- Cassette recognises that full compliance with these criteria may take time for some Suppliers, and are committed to working with Suppliers to implement improvement plans and help them achieve compliance.

- Suppliers must provide a workplace free from harassment of any form including physical, sexual, verbal or visual behaviour that creates an offensive, hostile, or intimidating environment.

Forced/Bonded Labour
- Suppliers shall not use any type of forced labour, (which means any work or service performed involuntarily under threat of physical or other penalty, such as prison, indentured or bonded labour).
- Workers will not be required to lodge deposits or identity papers with an employer and must be free to leave the work premises when a shift has ended and terminate their employment with due or reasonable notice.

Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining
- Suppliers shall respect that workers have the right to join a union or a worker’s organisation of their own choosing and to bargain collectively.
