During the 1960's J.F.K was elected. John F. Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy were assassinated in the 1960s. Meanwhile in the 60's, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, and The Rolling Stones were famous for their music/movies. Fashion was also popular in the 1960's for all kind of people such as man, women, and children. The 1960's is a decade known for its barbaric politics, revolutionary music, and fashion.
John F. Kennedy was a very well known man. Born May 29,1917, in Brookline Massachusetts. Kennedy joined the U.S. Navy in 1941 (John). He later left the navy because, no longer wanted to be a journalist. He first began in politics when he ran for Congress in 1946 (John). He won that year and was even elected in other years. Kennedy ran for U.S. Senate, defeating well-known, Republican, Henry Cabot Lodge Jr. He was vice president in 1956 and in 1960. John F. Kennedy decided to run for president. He was elected in the 1960s. Was the 35th president of the United States. He was 43 years old. He became the first youngest man and the Roman Catholic to hold the office. Later on, he beat Richard Nixon in that election (John). As most know, JFK was assassinated on November 22, 1963. The news spread quickly, almost like a rapid

Bobby for short, was attorney general during JFK’s presidency (Robert). Robert and John were brothers and also had one thing in common, they were both assassinated. Although, Robert wasn’t quite president yet. He managed his brother's presidential campaign. He was assassinated during his presidential run. Before running for president, he ran,successfully, for Senator of New York. In 1968 when he ran against Eugene McCarthy in the presidency election. (Robert). He was shot on June 5, 1968 several times by Sirhan Sirhan. He was shot after giving his victory speech at the California Democratic Primary at Ambassador Hotel in LA, California. Robert Kennedy was killed at age 42
