During the preparatory measures that lay the foundation of these professionals and their career path, these individuals will encounter and experience satisfying relationships with family members. By doing so, it gives the professional an inside view into the understanding of the family dynamics and their roles as primary care giver and teachers, as well as experienced sources of awareness of the child’s disability. Due to these experiences, professionals have become a valuable asset to the challenges parents face and have acquired skills that supply a foundation of support in the home environment of the child and family. Developing a strong base of support for the family by supplying resources and services to create a nurturing environment is one of many contributions that can be made toward the stability of a strong home environment.
