The people of Mesa changed when the Royal Air Force Pilots came. One example is the advertisement built specifically for them. One advertisement said, “Welcome RAF! Make the friendly Apache fountain you meeting place in Mesa”(Advertisement directed). Further advertisement for Fall weather clothing said “R.A.F have come to Mesa!... Coats... $12.95 - $29.95”(Advertisement directed). These advertisements show that the shopkeepers of Mesa made specific advertisements to the Royal Air Force pilots to gain more profits. Furthermore, The intake of “Four Thousand Officers and Men” will put a “Tremendous load” on the city of Mesa to deal with (Unbounded Confusion). One way they dealt with it where people were asked to house Royal Air Force cadets, “Want British Boy As Guest?”(Want British Boy) having British military officials stay at other people’s houses like this shows the community that was created by having Falcon Field built-in Mesa. When searching for everyone’s perspective it was hard to find it. Almost all views were in the positive for Falcon Field and the Royal Air Force cadets. There was little to no arguments against the pilots or the Airfield. This, of course, is not true there are always people who are against a certain idea but finding that information was not successful and could not be found. Groups that had little to no information on was the Pima Indians that worked for the airfield. It is seen in a photograph that they did work there but any other information on them could not be found. There was a lack of information on the Royal Air Force numbers. when finding out information about their lives is easy, but how many were trained during one year or the other cannot be found. How fast did it take for the army to train these cadets? How many pilots came through the doors of Falcon Field to become pilots? the number questions on exact people could not be found. In addition to this, there was not a lack of reliable sources. Some had
