Laser resurfacing of the face is a procedure that is used to reduce or diminish the appearance of any previous wrinkles and skin improprieties such as blemishes or acne scars. The technique is short, concentrated pulsating beams of light removing skin layer by layer. This procedure runs from $1,000-2,200 depending on the severity of treatment. We do offer flexible financing options to accommodate our clients. Candidates for this procedure are ones with fine lines, wrinkles around eyes, mouth, forehead, scars from acne and non-responsive skin after a face lift. Preparation for this procedure requires the patient not to take any medications or supplements that may interfere with clotting. 1. Facial laser skin resurfacing is a technique by which laser light beams are applied to the skin to attenuate the presence of fine lines, wrinkles, sun spots, skin blemishes, scars and other certain localized skin conditions.
2. Laser skin resurfacing won’t stop the aging process nor totally eliminate wrinkles. Future treatment may be necessary.
3. Treated zones will have a rose-colored appearance that will linger for several weeks or longer. A peculiar skin color or blotching may occur.
4. Laser skin resurfacing will cause some discomfort and swelling. Oozing occurs and the area may become covered with a crust which will eventually separate within a few weeks.
5. A skin dressing will be applied to help the healing process. If a dressing isn’t used, it will be necessary to clean the resurfaced area 4-5x times daily and keep the area covered with necessary prescribed medications/ointment. Failure to do so may have negative effects on healing and the final result of the
